Die Cut Borders with Rainbow Tape by Jeanne Streiff

Hi! Jeanne here today with a card using Rainbow Tape for borders.

I made a watercolored background with Color Burst from Ken Oliver Crafts. I used both purple 1/2" Rainbow Tape and 1/8" black Rainbow Tape on the bottom edge of my die cut (from Impression Obsession). I created a frame for my watercolor/die cut panel using 1/8" black Rainbow Tape before attaching it to my black card back.

Have a great day!

HO HO HO

Hello!! Giovana here today with a Christmas card, showcasing very traditional colors using the 1/4" Green and Red Metallic Tapes!

I started adding one line of each color until I covered my whole piece. This is a 3.75" x  5" piece.

Then I folded the pieces to the back and check out how pretty this looks!! This took me only a couple of minutes to create this fabulous background!!

This is my card! I added a Ho Ho Ho sentiment and cute frame and pearls and my card was done!!

Hope you get inspired by this project.
Have a fantastic day!

Hobby Tape Birch Trees by Lydia Fiedler!

Hi there! Lydia here from UnderstandBlue. Even though it's nearly 100 degrees here in Texas, I'm bringing you a wintery project today.

The white crepe tape has a really nice texture to it that made me think of birch bark, so I used the 1/4" and the 1/16" white crepe tapes to build little birch trees. I added the bark element with a Pitt permanent pen, and just a simple glimmer paper sentiment. The tapes take ink beautifully.

Make it Metallic!

Make it Metallic with RainboTape!
Jenny here today! The gold and silver metallic tapes comes in various sizes and are super shiny.  Perfect to add to your holiday cards! I created a shaker card with all the metallic elements on the card created with Rainbow Tape.
I used 1/4" Gold and 1/4" Silver for my project.
Look at my two toned die cut below! It has a beautiful finish to it and it was easy peasy to create. You can see my negative piece. I just added the strips of tape down on card stock prior to die cutting. The finished cut piece really looks like metal!

COLOR MY WORLD!

It's a RainboTape day!
I love how Jenny colored the tape with Copics last week, so I thought that I would give it a try. WOW! The tape really picks up the color smoothly and easily!

I went with a rainbow palette and started coloring some tape with Copics.
I wanted to create something clean and simple.

First I cut out three triangles on a 4 x 5 1/2  sheet of Neenah.

The colored strips of tape were placed onto the paper following the angle of the penciled triangle. Black tape was used to fill in the corners of the rainbow.

You can go here to see the details of my project.
Thanks for looking!

Pretty nails with pretty tape

Hello everyone! Giovana here today with a cool post. I have to say the metallic tape is not only fantastic for your cool paper craft projects, but also works great on your nails! I don't do my nails very often cause I work with kids, but I decided to give the tape a chance to show on my nails and I love it!!

Here are few pictures of the process {wink, wink}

I started painting my nails navy blue, well the actual name is "I cast a spell on blue" by Jenna Hipp (I borrowed it from my daughter's collection)

Then, I cut stripes of 1/16" gold metallic tape and added them to my nails, I skipped the thumb, for a different look ;)

Trimmed all the excess from both sides and you have pretty nails! After that I added a coat of Top Coat for extra strength and durability.

Hope you like it and give it a try!
See ya next time

Lydia here with a holiday project using the 1/4" silver tape. The metallic tapes emboss beautifully over cardstock or fun foam, and then I just added paint and sanded it, giving it a faux wood look in the background. There are full instructions and an instructional video for this project on my blog, but here's a sneak peek.
