TRICK OR TREAT!

TRICK OR TREAT!

Happy Halloween! Karen here with a shaker card to share with you today.
Love those thin lines you can get with  Rainbow Tape!
I have used the 1/32" in black for the tiny edge around the lavender paper.
A single line of tape was also used along the bottom of the white layer to anchor her.

To see more details about the card you can visit my blog here!

Thanks for looking!

Love, Peace and Joy by Giovana Smith

Hello friends!! Giovana here with another super Clean and Simple Christmas card using a watercoloring technique and delicate metallic tapes to accent the background.

For the background first I created a washed background using Aquamarine Spectrum Aqua and a bit of Teacup Spectrum Sparkle, then added the metallic tapes leaving about .5" space in between lines.

Then added my die-cuts and stamped "love and peace", finally added little pearls.

Hope you like it.
Have a fantastic day!!

Wag More, Bark Less!

 Jenny here today!
I know I'm usually all about the cats, but the Crazy Dogs are pretty cute too! I've had fun coloring up a few dogs for a change.  I added a few details around the edges using 1/16" Black Rainbow Tape. Perfect little add on to embellish!

Copics:W9, W6, W4, W3, B05, E04, E95, YG97, YG93, Y26
I added a little paw print die on the inside and more details with the Rainbow Tape at the bottom edge. Finished card is an A2.

OCTOBER HOPE

Happy Friday! Karen here with a card of hope for a special friend.

I have used very subtle lines of Rainbow Tape in white on the background.

A Splash of watercolor in pink was put down first. Diagonal lines of Rainbow Tape were next. Using a stencil, Texture paste was smoothed on over the tape. After letting the paste dry, I added more tape.

The Hope and Ribbon die cuts are from Serendipity.

Joy to the World by Giovana Smith

Hello friends! Giovana here with a Christmas card for you. I am trying to have my Christmas cards done before Thanksgiving and have enough to send to my family and friends, this one is easy, elegant and has the metallic factor that everyone will love.

For this project I used Red, Green and Gold Metallic Tapes, perfect Christmas combo.

So, here few steps of the card process:
  • Apply 1/4 Green and Gold Metallic Tape on a piece of cardstock and die-cut pieces.

This is a close view of the die-cut pieces.
  •  Cut a piece of white cardstock, this piece is 4" x 4"and adhere Red Metallic Tape in all sides.

  • Create a card base 5" x 5", adhere the panel with the red border and then add the colored panel, sentiment and die-cut pieces.

Hope you like it!
Have a fantastic day!!

Ghosties, Ghoulies and Rainbow Tape!

It's Jenny today with another Halloween project! I had a few extra spiders hanging out on my desk from a previous card and couldn't let them go to waste. So another spider card is up for today. These spiders really do give me the creeps with their jointed legs!  I used a Spider Web Die for my background instead of stamping this time.

Lots of Rainbow Tape to embellish.
The purple and orange tapes are perfect for Halloween! Rainbow Tape is wrapped around the sentiment panel, on the edges of the spider web panel, on the card base and also on the inside of the card. It's such an easy addition thats already cut to the perfect size!

All stamps and Dies are from Impression Obsession and you can find details on my blog.
You can find all the Rainbow Tape in various sizes and colors HERE!

Patriotic Thanks by Jeanne Streiff

Hi! Jeanne here today with a patriotic thank you card!

Today is my day to host a Falliday Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. If you haven't checked out the challenges going on you should. Lots of fun and some of the challenges (including this one) are for card drives to special places. You can see my challenge HERE.

I used acrylic paint to make my background and then added a die cut frame (Lawn Fawn). I finished my card by making accent stripes with 1/16" gold metallic tape.

Have a great day!

Sweet as can BEE

Hi everyone - Lydia here today with a SWEET card featuring the 1/16" gold tape. I thought it made a nice vertical accent for my sweet bees. I watercolored the background and then colored the bees and the hive with Copics, and die cut the hive and the bees with matching dies. All supplies are listed below.
